Allstars Ready to Defend Title

Morehead, KY – After a highly successful 2015 campaign the Media Allstars are ready to defend their 2015 ATVMX Race Team of the Year status.  A little over a month has passed since the Daytona supercross kicked off the AMA Pro ATV season but with only limited classes for the amateurs (and no series points) it only serves as a nice warm up race for those not racing the Pro class.  A few of our riders had the chance to make the trip to get some much needed seat time and experience but the real season is now upon us.

Zach Kaczmarzyk looks to put his Media Allstar machine on the box in the Pro-Am and Pro Sport classes

The 2016 ATV MX National Season (for the Amatuers) kicks off at Underground MX in Kemp, Texas on April 9th.  The MAS team won’t have a full roster in attendance as this round is a bit of a haul for most of our more eastern based racers, but we will have several riders making the trek westward to compete for valuable points and hardware.  Zach Kaczmarzyk is making the jump to the Pro-Am and Pro Sport classes.  He expects to rocket out of the hole on his Illinois Powersports custom CRF450 powered Honda.  Kaczmarzyk won the 16-24 class a season ago and bad luck cost him a couple of B class championships in 2015 so we know he has the speed to make noise as he moves into the big boy classes.  Brandon Cesaroni had an up and down season in 2015 but showed his true potential at last years season finale as he took home a top 3 in the B class.  Look for the #243 to lead his fair share of laps this season.  Tennyson, Indiana’s Michael Perkins has been a steady contributor to the MAS effort for a few years now but really started to show his true speed toward the end of last season.  Perkins collected his first overall national win at Loretta Lynn’s last year and has trained hard all winter to try to let that success carry over to the start of the 2016 season as he moves up to the A class.  Juan David Lopez will make his U.S. National debut in the B class this weekend.  After a nice and eye opening experience at Daytona Juan has put in some serious training to get in the shape it takes to race in the states.  The Columbian rider hopes to make a splash this season and take a championship back with him this fall.  The Media Allstars have a rich history of helping promote fast riders from other countries and we firmly believe that Juan fits the mold.

Several of the Media Allstars will sit round 1 out but the entire team should be out in full force for round 2 at historic Muddy Creek Raceway.  Check us out on social media as we will have updates on our riders all weekend long as they get the title defense underway.
