Allstars are ready for some sunshine at Sunset Ridge

Morehead, KY – Two weeks ago mother nature showed her ugly side for the 5th time this season.  Every single round of the ATVMX National Series has seen rain effect it in some way.  The last time being at Monster Mountain which saw great conditions Friday and Saturday only to be a wash out on Sunday.  The race promoters were once again forced to cancel races on Sunday due to the water standing on the track and the forecast for more rain on the way.  Our team fared pretty well even with the cancelation of Sunday’s second motos.  A few of our riders  were left wishing for a chance a redemption (2nd motos) but sometimes that’s just racing.

Chase Cunningham 2nd 25+, 9th Production A

Josh Holley 2nd Open C, 2nd 450C

Emily Saieva 3rd 90 Auto Sr.

Brandon Cesaroni 4th Production B

Michael Perkins 6th Production A

James Perry 6th 40+ B/C

Zach Kaczmarzyk 13th Pro Sport

Josh Holley took home two 2nd place finishes from Monster Mountain

Zach Kaczmarzyk could have used a 2nd moto in pro sport after being taken out of the first moto by another rider.

Michael Perkins was charging to the front in 16-24 before crashing, but salvaged the weekend with a strong 6th in Production A

Brandon Cesaroni lost a nerf bar in his 450B moto, but looked great in Production B finishing 4th.

Chase Cunningham looked good on his way to a 2nd in 25+

James Perry of JPMX fame made the trip to Monster Mountain finishing 6th in 40+ B/C

The forecast for the Walnut, IL area for this weekend looks GREAT!  That is a big sigh of relief from not only our team but the entire ATV Racing Nation, pretty sure we’re all sick of the rain and muck.  We actually just got a brand new set of Maxxis 20″ XC tires and our theory is that now that we are totally prepared for the rain it will almost guarantee that it won’t rain again this season.  It’s a small price to pay for clear skys so…’re welcome!  The Sunset Ridge track is basically a hometown race for 2 of our riders.  Zach Kaczmarzyk and Brandon Cesaroni (the infamous BZ Racing crew) call Sunset their home as they both live within an hours drive of the facility.  Look for both riders to showcase their true speed as they take on the competition on very familiar soil.  Several Media Allstar riders are starting to put the heat on in the points races for National Titles, with strong performances this weekend we could see some of our riders creep up the points ladder as the amateur season is more than half way over.

If you live in the Midwest and want to witness some great ATV Motocross Racing action join us this weekend at Sunset Ridge, as for Team Media Allstars we’ll have live team updates on social media so go like our Instagram @mediaallstars  and our Facebook you won’t be disappointed!
